Just another page to tell you about the great players that have come out of WCHS.

Casey Begger

If you look at Casey Begger you will think he is a huge guy and he looks the same way on the football field. Casey was our center and middle linebacker. He was great at run blocking and pass blocking. He could light people up and make them timid for the rest of the game. And he could make sure no one got to Ty when he was passing. On Defense Casey could step up and stop the run up the middle and with his height he could pick off the quick passes to the middle also. He was also a great help in our basketball season.
Edit

 Ty Zinda

If u are looking for a QB who can run the ball good and has a great arm and isnt a pussy like all the rest of them. Ty Zinda would be that person. He was the Longhorns Quarter Back in the 4th and 5th state title year. He had a great arm on him and could run better than some of the other backs in the state and he wasnt scared to take a hit, like most of the wibaux players. His desire to hit someone was also a help on Defense to he could stop the runs pretty damn good. And like always he was a good help in basketball to.

Brett Nellermoe

Brett Nellermoe, brother to Travis Nellermoe, was a big help in our 4th state title year. Brett was a End, Inside Linebacker, and Kicker. Brett's speed and height has helped him alot to. He has speed to out run the Defensive Backs and he can jump up and catch the ball with ease. On Defense he was great at stopping the big runs and for stopping the short passes. Like every other Longhorn Brett has helped alot in other sports like track and basketball

Greg Ford

Greg Ford is just a regular bad ass on the football field. Greg being a senior this year, he is the Longhorns Tail Back and Middle Line Backer. Greg is a great Tail Back with the power to go full speed into someone and keep on going. This power also is a help on defense. Greg can step right into the hole and just shit-can someone and his speed can get him outside to pick up the short passes. Greg is always serious about the game of football. which makes him a great athlete like he is today. And as normal Greg also plays basketball to help out the Longhorns there.

Trey Weyer

Trey Weyer has also a big help in our 5th state title year. He was our fullback and did a good job blocking the way for Dustin Frasch and he could get the 4-5 yards we needed for the first down. He was also a big help on defense. He could stop the outside run and stop the quick passes. And he did all of this after blowing out his knee the year before. Just shows how devoted the Longhorns are. Trey also hellped out with basketball alot, like every other Longhorn would

Troy Zinda

Troy Zinda, brother to Scott Zinda, was the Longhorns Tail Back. He was a great runner, he had speed, strength, and determination. He could run right past people and if anyone got in his way he could break the tackle with ease. On defense he could make sure that no one got passed him on a run and the short passes would always be stopped pretty fast by him also. He was also a help in other sports besides football to.
